By placing bids on NH Buttons' Auctions, a bidder agrees to the Terms and Conditions, the Bidding Rules, and the Buyer’s Premium as stated below.

The auction provides images and descriptions of each lot with as much accuracy as possible, and the hope of conveying full information about each lot. The auction organizers are happy to respond to questions posed for further clarity about the contents and condition of any lot. Additional pictures also can be requested. The lots are sold “as is/where is”. Returns are allowed only when a lot is significantly different from the representation in the images and description of that lot. Requests for returns or refunds must be made within ten days of receipt of purchased auction lots.


In order to bid in NH Buttons' Auctions, one must complete the Registration form found on the site. One’s payment information will be checked and approved. A credit card is required to register to bid although one may choose to pay with a check, postal money order, bank transfer, PayPal or cash if picking up successful bids. 

All provided credit card information will be stored securely. Other information provided on your registration form will not be shared with any other business entities.

Registrant’s bidder name will be the email address used on the registration form. No indication of that name will be shown on the auction bidding pages.

To get started with bidding, you can search for your favorite button collecting categories and after placing bids, can continue to follow your bids through your My Account page.

As you browse the button lots, there is a “Watchlist” button to use if you want to return to view a lot before deciding to bid.

When placing a bid, please check your typed numbers before pushing the BID NOW button, as correcting a bid after it is placed requires assistance from the site administrator.

By bidding on lots in this auction, you are committing to purchase those lots on which you are the highest bidder. Once you place a bid, you may not cancel it, so please look carefully at the numbers you have typed before you push the bid button.

Note: you can bid while viewing lots individually on the main auction page, or you can place bids through your “My Account” page.

When you are outbid on a lot, you will receive an email informing you of this fact; a link will be provided to revisit the lot.

You can view lots without registering to bid; but, note that early registration will assure plenty of active bidding time during the nine day auction time period.

Before you bid, be sure to review and familiarize yourself with the shipping costs and payment options.

When bidding, note that there is a benefit to submitting your maximum bid amount from the start. Your bid stays at the lowest minimum amount required to keep you in the lead, and the bid increases (up to your maximum amount) only if another bidder places a competing bid. This approach minimizes receipt of many automatically generated outbid notices and offers assurance that your best bid is in place. And, to avoid disappointment, you may want to place your maximum bid sooner than the last few minutes of an auction.

If you have a need to change your registration information you provided for the last auction, please go to your My Account page and edit the information there. There is no need to register again for the current auction. Your prior information provided is still on record for you as a bidder.

When deciding to place a bid, it is important to note that the bidding increments will automatically increase in the following bidding progression manner:

Buyer's Premium

There is a 13.5% buyers premium (with a 3.5% discount for payment using cash, US money order, or US check) that will be added to the winning bid/selling price.

(The Buyer’s Premium is a specified percentage above the high bid that is paid by the buyer to the auction house. It becomes part of the total purchase price.)

Auction Layout

The auction is set up with six sessions, each consisting of 200 lots, all 1200 lots starting at 8 A.M eastern US time on April 13th, 2024. The first three sessions end one week later, during the evening of Saturday, April 20th, 2024, at 1 ½ hour intervals, with lots 1-200 ending at  6 PM, lots 201-400 ending at 7:30 PM and lots 401-600 ending at 9 PM. The fourth-sixth sessions (lots 601-1200) end the evening of Sunday, April 21st, 2024, at the same times and intervals per 200 lots: 6 PM, 7:30 PM and 9 PM, all on eastern US standard time.

You will be notified when you win an item, and you will be able to see all your wins (and losses) on your My Account page.

Following the sale, shipping costs will be figured by nhbuttons.com and you will be invoiced within 2 days of the auction end by nhbuttons.com for the total of your successful bids, the buyer’s premium, and the shipping costs.


Payment is due within 10 days of the receipt of the end of the auction. If we have not received payment or communication from you telling us of your method of and plans for payment, your credit card on record will be charged. We accept checks, USPS Money Orders, bank transfers, PayPal and credit or debit card payments. Invoiced lots paid by check, money order or other bank instrument will be shipped only after funds have cleared the bank. Returned checks are subject to a $37 bank fee.
